June 12, 2020 - Today, OSMA President Anthony Armstrong, MD, spoke directly to Sen. Steve Huffman, an emergency room physician and long-time member of OSMA, expressing the association’s concern with his comments and together they discussed how the association, legislature, public health officials and community members can work together to seek a greater understanding of race and its impact on health care in Ohio. Dr. Armstrong currently serves as a member of Governor DeWine’s Minority Health Strike Force.
