Healthy State Alliance Opioid Symposium

This free, virtual event will take place on October 16 from 8 a.m.–12:30 p.m. EST.

It will feature addiction experts from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Bon Secours Mercy Health and others discussing topics including:

·       Human trafficking

·       Reducing stigma of addiction

·       Peer support in recovery

·       Learning from a pandemic

·       Alternatives in pain management

·       Primary care in substance use disorder

·       Opioid impact on public health

The event is hosted by Healthy State Alliance, the strategic initiative between Bon Secours Mercy Health and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and is open to all medical professionals including physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, STNAs, medical assistants, therapists and residents.
