Sean McCullough Joins OSMA Advocacy Team, Monica Hueckel Promoted

The Ohio State Medical Association has hired Sean McCullough as Director of Policy & Legal Counsel.

The organization also promoted Monica Hueckel, who has been with the OSMA for more than eight years, to the role of Vice President of Advocacy.

Mr. McCullough joins OSMA after logging more than 15 years of experience in legislative and legal roles, serving most recently as executive director of the Ohio Common Sense Initiative. He also held roles in the Ohio House, Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and served as assistant chief counsel in the Office of the Governor.

Prior to the promotion, Ms. Hueckel was the association's senior director of government relations. In her new role, she will continue to manage government relations, and will also now oversee the Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Governance departments within OSMA.
